March 24, 2026 Forum – AI: Economic Pros and Cons
March 24 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
Artificial Intelligence. Love it or hate it, it’s here. For the past several months, it seems you can’t glance at a newsfeed anymore without some reference to this phenomenon. Our concern is how it will affect our economy – for better or worse.
To that end, we are preparing a panel to discuss some of the impacted areas. We intend to have representatives from the State of Oregon, Clackamas County, the City of Oregon City, Clackamas Community College, and the health industry.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming the economy, presenting a unique set of challenges and opportunities for the business community. This Forum will explore how AI is reshaping industries – from healthcare and technology to education and government – and what these shifts mean for our community’s resilience and growth. Join us for a comprehensive conversation on how we all can navigate the “dangers” of automation and digital transition while seizing the “economic opportunities” of innovation and investment.
This subject is both timely and, frankly, too important to miss. We hope to see you all there.
